We race for fun, but equally enjoy close comeptitive racing. The radio controlled buggy classes are 2WD, 4WD 1/10th electric and pending numbers the heats are seperated into classes.
We have a number of older generation rc cars that run very well at the club. For a good days racing you don't need the latest kit at TORCH! If you are looking at purchasing a buggy to race at TORCH it is worth contacting us first to find a buggy to suit you and the track.
This class is be populated with various makes and models of buggy. The most popular this season has been the Team Associated RC10 B4. Racers have also been running the RC10 B3, Losi XX, X Factory X6 Squared and a range of other 2WD buggies with brushed and brushless motor systems.
The four wheel drive vehicles are able to fully adapt to the full range of weather conditions we race in at TORCH and like the 2WD this class contains a mixture of makes of off road buggies. This year racers have raced the Schumacher Cat SX (holding the club record), Team Associated B44, Tamiya Dark Impact and many other models.
