The TORCH Race Track

The track is a permanent off road course which is weather worn; laid out with 100% Astro Turf on top of uneven ground. This leads to a great circuit which is fun and challenging to race for both novices and experienced pros that is not hard on cars or batteries.

The track consists of two jumps along with a combination of hairpin bends, long straights and sweeping corners taking a mixture of both speed and skill to achieve the best lap times.

We race on between 9am to 1pm each Sunday (weather dependant) with practice available on Sunday's before racing and in afternoon after racing has finished. No practice is allowed at other times due to the rental agreement.

Unfortunately there is no mains electricity. There is also a RC Plane Club that meet there on Sundays mornings as well as us in the opposite field they run their Models on 30Mhz so we must Stick to 27/40Mhz frequencies by Law or one of the newer 2.4ghz radio gear sets.
